A climate hub is a organizing node at the centre of a network.
A climate marketing hub works to support the combined marketing potential of a network of organizations, each providing expertise and resources to support common objectives related to climate leadership and action.
Organization
A climate hub can be organized by several key players. Ideally, the founding organizations would be able to bring funding, strategic expertise, and creative marketing skills to the table.
Organic
local communities can organize community networks and action plans, which can draw upon marketing and engagement resources from climate marketing hubs and other sources.
For an organizing guide and examples of community plans, see the community action page at Climate Action Canada.

The Community Climate Hubs program focuses at the local level, where risks of a changing climate (floods, heat-waves, etc.) and rewards of reducing pollution (air quality, cost savings, etc.) are most tangible. We support citizen-led, grassroots organizing at the local level, in the form of Community Climate Hubs, pushing folks to raise the climate ambition in their municipalities across the country.
