This is our blue ring

A symbol for our climate
A symbol of our commitment

And inside this ring is space
for all of us, and all we hold dear.

One simple blue ring with endless possibilities

Description

The blue ring is a symbol of our climate and our climate movement.

Organization

The blue ring is free to use without attribution.

An initial set of guiding values, principles, vision and goals has been developed to support the use of the image. The initial statement is intended to represent common cause while allowing for organizations and networks with specific expertise to expand on the common cause statements.

Organic

The blue ring has unlimited potential for connecting climate leadership, solutions, and activism around the world.

Examples

The blue ring is similar approach as the 3Rs logo that won a design competion for Earh Day in 1970. It is now universally recognized as a symbol for reduce, reuse, and recycle.

There are also many other logos that are associated with specific environmental and sustainability applications, such as the Forest Stewardship Council. These logos + criteria are examples of how organizations and networks can help define and monitor specific applications of the blue ring and the common cause values, principles, goals and vision.

One simple blue ring with endless possibilities

It can show we are:

COMMITTED

…to a future that is net-zero, resilient, and better

CONNECTED

…as part of a global climate movement

CREATIVE

…in finding solutions people want

COORDINATED

…through networks and campaigns to achieve our goals
