Our Climate Matters is a foundational campaign. Awareness of the live-giving value of our climate is the first step to accepting and supporting the need to protect it.
The campaign is as simple as embedding the phrase “our climate matters” into our messaging, be it in posts, media releases, speeches or any other opportunity. It can be followed by examples that are relevant to your area of interest, or to your audience.
A more coordinated approach can be used by lead groups and collaborations across the climate movement to reinforce the message through marketing campaigns, in particular in response to current events and emerging priorities.
This approach is frequently used by opponents of climate action to seed the social and political dialogue with catch phrases and opinions that will influence public opinion and policy. In contrast, our approach is above-board and invites open dialogue on how we design a future that is clean, resilient, and better for all.
